How to Disable Autoplay in Windows of CD/DVD or USB Devices

You all know when we input a usb device or insert a cd/dvd in our computer system, a pop up window appears on our computer screen i.e. Autorun .
Some likes but some don`t want to see it anymore because it feels annoying.

As a fact, This autorun increases the attack of windows malware threats on your system.

But, The thing which matters is What you want ? want to use it or not?
Yeah! of course! it is a easy and short way to access usb or disks folders without opening manually.
But Direct accessing data without scanning causes viruses attack on your system.

So, Want to stop the malware or viruse`s attack on your system ?

How to Disable Autoplay of CD/DVD and USB Devices :

---

• Go to Start >> Run...

• Type gpedit.msc and Enter, a new window appears.

• Look for Administrative Template and Expand it.

• Then Expand windows components.

• Look for AutoPlay Policies and Click.

• A new window appears.. Select Enabled to turn off autoplay. 

• In the options , You can select either All drives or CD-ROM and Removable media devices according to your need.

To Turn On Back , Follow same procedure and just select Not Configured or Disabled .

This can save your system from the attack of windows malware threats.
