How to Operate Your Computer with Your Voice

But it`s True.

-You can operate your computer with your voice commands.

-You can talk with your Computer.

Now, You are thinking But How is it possible?

Sure, I will keep it short and better to the points.

It is very easy. To do so, Your computer must be connected with a microphone and speakers.

Operate Computer With Voice Commands :

• Click on  Start button >> Control Panel >> Ease of Access >> Speech Recognition.

oo...Before you click on Start Speech Recognition . I`ll advice you ,You must follow the following Instructions,You first go for

Set up Microphone :

---

• To Set up Your Microphone, click Set up Microphone and follow the instructions further.

Take Speech Tutorial :

---

After Setting up the Microphone,You can take a speech tutorial in which you can learn how to use your computer with speech and basic commands and dictation. 

This tutorial can take about 30 minutes to complete and in this tutorial you teach yourself how to talk to your computer.    

To do so :

• Click on  Start button >> Control Panel >> Ease of Access >> Speech Recognition.

• Click on Take speech tutorial and follow the further instructions on your screen.

Train Your Computer to Better Recognize You :

More you interact with your computer,better your computer will recognise your voice. Simply, You have to train your computer in this section.

• Click on  Start button >> Control Panel >> Ease of Access >> Speech Recognition.

• Click on Train your computer to better understand you 

Now, You have to read some sentences loudly and clearly shown on your screen so that computer can recognise your voice and the way you speak.

Now,It`s time to go for Start Speech Recognition 

• Click on  Start button >> Control Panel >> Ease of Access >> Speech Recognition.

• Click on  Start Speech Recognition 

Now you have done.Operate your computer with your voice commands.

 All the commands are listed in Take Speech Tutorial ,  or you can get them by right clicking on the Windows Speech Recognition and then selecting open speech reference card.

Simple voice commands are : 

start listening -to start windows speech recognition.

stop listening - to stop windows speech recognition.

open computer/notepad - to open computer or notepad etc.

close computer/notepad - to close computer or notepad etc.

show numbers -if computer not understand you,speak show numbers,it will show a list of numbers on different names on that screen,you can select a number and then open or close that.

This is all about how you can operate your computer with your voice.
