Wifi Settings in Android- How to Access Wi-Fi on Your Device

This is all about How to configure wi-fi settings in your android mobile phone?

Before, We proceed further....Make sure you have provided Proxy address, subnet mask address, IP address , username and password.

Configure wi-fi Settings in your Android Phone :

• Settings >> Wireless and Networks >> Wi-fi settings 

• Press Options Button ( under screen with Home and back buttons )

• Then Advanced , Fill Columns :

                     Proxy       :    provided Proxy address 

                     Port          :    as provided ( 80 )

Under IP Settings :

                    Static IP      :   Select 

                    IP Address  :   as provided

                    Gateway      :   write IP address provided

                    Netmask     :   as provided

                    DNS 1         :   write IP address provided

                    DNS 2         :   write subnet mask provided

Note : Above steps are according with Samsung galaxy android phone.



Now, Turn on phone`s wifi and Enter Security key of the network server provided to you.Now Open your phone`s default Internet browser and enjoy surfing.



Imp. Note : It is possible that You may not able to connect with Fb app or surf in 
                   other browsers except phone`s default Internet Browser.
